Whether presentations are in a Creole courtyard, lonely crossroads, local graveyard, banks of the river, simply in a convention hall or even the privacy of your own home—we evoke the spirit of place to join with you for these absolutely fabulous custom designs. Join public Special Events or create your own!
Hands on Voodoo doll making, Gris-Gris charm creation, Voodoo Lecture, Altar building, Ghost Storytelling, Paranormal Photography, Blood Mysteries, Zombies, Vampires and the Loup Garou (werewolf), Creole Death and Mourning customs, Tarot workshops and more—we will design one targeted to your needs. All these can be accompanied by the beat of a drum in ritual format or straight lecture. We can enlighten and perhaps even frighten you into the reality of the magick that surrounds us. Designed as one-on one focus seminars or for groups up to a thousand; we teach in an informative, entertaining fashion—Edutainment—is our specialty and the power of sound, our most precious tool. Voodoo Lectures and Demos
In a Creole courtyard I display the ve-ve art as part of a Voodoo storytelling experience—Ve-Ve’s are symbol signature of the Loa (spirits) and voodoo altars in themselves. The drum beat as a spirit force coupled and the sound of the story reaches into your archetypal self-calling forth recognition and understanding. A spirited experience of history, mystery and revelation. The format is customized to your groups’ special interest and the proper spirit is called upon!
Voodoo Doll Making
To heal or to hex, that the question?! Whether tis nobler... to quote shakespeare -who cerainaly knew a bit about magic, but I digress Join the Lecture and the history of the infamous voodoo Doll-the Hollywood version and the truth. Explore the positives and negatives of effigies through history—contagious and sympathetic magic cross culturally—culminating in actual doll craft-making and proper use. A hands-on demonstration--materials supplied and spiritual techniques applied.
The Crossroads-A Voodoo Blues Experience

Trace New Orleans Creole Voodoo from the beat of the African drums to the roots of Delta blues with Bloody Mary. Learn of the provocative snake dance, perhpas schedule a voodoo wedding, join a tribute to the Great, Mysterious Marie Laveau and become one with the spirit in dance trance. The powers in the air possess you, the passions of Congo fire spirits enflame you and the lures of Big Waters tempt you and you become embedded in the soul of New Orleans, the birthplace of American Voodoo. Do a toast to the ghost as we begin this Voodoo Ritual ceremony. Bloody Mary is the presiding voodoo queen and historian hostess from the Voodoo Museum who will open the gates to the unseen world and let the spirits flow! Psychic services, giveaways, costume contest, tattoo contest, Reverend Zombie’s Voodoo Shop supplies and special haunting surpirses are a few options for your group or calm it down to a personl Bluues trail designed just for you!

Ashade Meadows Peristyle Bywater church celebrates New Orleans 3rd annual La Source Ancienne Ounfo’s Couche Vodou initiations and Vodou dances May 20-26 officiated by renowned Haitian elder Vodou priest and spirit father Edgar Jean- Louis.
Couche, an Ancient African initiation week allows the public to join in a few of theCeremonies in the making of new spirit leaders to help heal New Orleans. Renowned Haitian Voodoo Priest Edgar Jean- Louis, spirit father of Ashade Meadows Peristyle New Orleans Vodou Church along with Sallie-Ann Glassman’s House and Bloody Mary invite public to join for Tuesday’s May 20th’s Ayizan opening Rada Ritual 7pm, the Brule Zin Fire ritual
On Friday May 23rd at 9pm and the initiate Lave Ritual on Sunday May 25, 8 am, at 3319Rosalie Alley (dirt alley off of N. Rampart, between Piety and Desire, Bywater). Please Wear white clothes and bring offerings
A Public head washing ceremony at 7pm Tuesday May 27th to feed spirit andCleanse New Orleanians offered at $75, donations for this ceremony and proceeds Benefit non for profit Ashede Meadows Peristyle Church dedicated to community safetty growth and spiritual awareness.

pains so that we re-member New Orleans and help her face her new type of post-k reconstruction. Be blessed with the emerging of new spirit children on Sunday morning as initiates are baptized during the Lave. These 3 rituals are free and open to public.
Then Cool your own head with the Lave Tet ceremony to help cleanse self and thereby city held on Tuesday May 27, 7pm - a miracle in itself. Shed any misconceptions of this religion when you participate in a slice of cultural heritage reborn in New Orleans Ashade Meadows Perisytyle dedicated in Pre- K 2005. According to Edgar, “Sallie-Ann Glassman’s Church in New Orleans is the only free standing Vodou peristyle in the
United States”. From within New Orleans, Couche takes the initiates to Guinea from theland which will always be the Voodoo capital of our Country and of course where American Voodoo began.
