Let Bloody Mary take you away on an enchanted stroll where yesteryear meets today. During this Shamanic journey through sacred sites and Vortices in New Orleans we share metaphysical healings within and without. Join a behind the scenes glimpse into our unique cultural and spiritual traditions as we take an afternoon spirit walk, explore a cemetery, connect with City Park's Ancient Oak Forest, hear a haunted tale or two, participate in a Bayou St. John healing ceremony plus make and keep your own New Orleans Voodoo Doll. We peruse above ground burials and understand how fashion and function created New Orleans cemeteries to become the most unique in our country. Beautiful architecture holds tales of spirit filled lives waiting within to unfold plus a moment of tribute to those who perished in plagues and plights throughout the history of New Orleans-then and now. Walk through the city of the living surrounding the cities of the dead and see some interesting similarities.
Meander through the Sacred Oak Grove within City Park and explore these Moss draped beauties that hold life and death stories in their hand. We walk with nature spirits at our side and swamp magic bubbling beneath our feet as we tred lightly over ley lines to an important healing vortex area. Lend your own inner healing talents to help heal the earth and she will reciprocate with multifold blessings back to you. Visit the 2 Oldest Oaks In New Orleans—over 600 years old , once the ceremonial center for the Native Americans who lived there and still wait under their canopied dome to share thier wisdom as we open up though meditation to recieve the messages. See the infamous Dueling Oak, Children's oak and many more.
We Stroll leisurely guided by an ancient tributary of our Mother Mississippi while learning about the powers of Water Magic, crossroads power and the Spirt of Place. Hear of the famous St John's Eve Voodoo Rituals held on the bayou by the famous Voodoo Queen— Marie Laveau and get your blessing from a current Voodoo Queen —Bloody Mary, a modern Lightworker importing multi-cultural healing techniques passed down to her through inheritence, initiation , intense study and Grace.
We will sit and make a Mew Orleans Moss voodoo doll en route and learn the proper use of this Spirit tool while dispelling the Hollywood Dark Side . Examine beliefs and techniques from the our ancestors and see how they dealt with the spirit world. A Truly enlightening experience filled with spirit messages,paranormal photpgraphy, healings, history , mystery and much magic!

Voodoo Doll Making
To heal or to hex, that the question?! Whether tis nobler ... to quote Shakespeare, who certainly knew a bit about magic, but I digress. Join the Lecture and the history of the infamous voodoo Doll— the Hollywood version and the truth. Explore the positives and negatives of effigies through history—contagious and sympathetic magic cross culturally—culminating in actual doll craft-making and proper use. A hands-on demonstration--materials supplied and spiritual techniques explained.

Bayou Blessings and Ve-Ve's
We open the gates to the spirit world of the Mysteries with the symbol signature of the Loa Legba also known as Papa Labas in New Orleans—the gatekeeper to begin the ritual blessing at Bayou st John. Cleanse off any negativities and be renewed from the same waters where the Historic Marie Laveau's St John's Eve rituals are held for over 200 years! Hear the history and receive the mysteries of Native American Medicine, Voodoo and Christianity combined with a little Swamp Magic on the side.
Where and When to Meet
This Tour meets at 4905 Canal Street in Mid City at the Beachcorner Bar, Thurssay.Friday and Saturday at 2:15pm. This tour is 2 1/2 hours + in length and includes mulitple terrain walking.

Travel 3 miles away from the French Quarter by car or streetcar. Take the Canal Street Streetcar that says "Cemeteries" right on it and get off at the end of the line in Mid city and walk back 1 block to Beachcorner Bar at 4905 Canal St and i will meet you in front. Call (504) 915-7774 for further directions and remember to RSVP when you arrive in town. Sreetcar takes 30 miinutes and picks up on the 1/2 hour from Canal street french quarter end but driving only takes about 10 minutes from French Quarter, safe on street parking is available.

Make it a Day of the Dead and continue on to our Moonlight Cemetery Ghost tour at 5:30pm OR this walk can continue after the 12pm Voodoo/Cemetery tour or if you are brave book all three. All different cemeteries for your explore on every graveyard tour but this one includes folk magic.
