Queen of the marketplace and of the temple. Ayizon is the Spirit of Place—the genus Loci! Where you are in an inner and outer sense is ruled by Loa Ayizan. Though in modern terms described as female we would be more accurate to say androgyniene.

Ayazon would be given gifts of palm leaves, sugar cane and especially in New Orleans Mississippi River water—It is all about the river!
