The Story Behind this Postcard
A stroll throught the cemetery in 18th and 19th century New Orleans by moonlight was part of the social structure. Women in their Mourning time were limited from many other social activities and spent their time in contemplation, receiving on mourning benches and creating immortelles of their loved ones lost.

We give tribute to  New Orleans ancestors and customs on our Moonlight graveyard walks.
