On Board Events
The Amtrak Crescent line has some unseen guests who surround Jerome Trahan, Amtrak regional Marketing manager in the old sleeper car during our Kickoff Halloween 2002 Ghost train. The spirit liked the idea so much that we all decided to offer these events all the time for your group or private haunted escort. We were traveling from Meridian, Mississippi to New Orleans on the Crescent when the car got very, very cold. Meridian is filled with Spirits—from the Gypsy Queen’s Graveyard to Merrehope’s Mansion and the wonderful Old Opera house we were plenty busy with investigations. Meridian is also the home of Jimmy Rogers-Father of country Music and Jimmy’s Spirit made sure we knew he was the one who called this project together for the Voodoo Blues Train—a ghost train special edition!

Radio station 103.3 WZKR station personality Art Mathews, Jerome again, Cindy Kass Sales Director from Decatur Hotels and some of the winners of the first ghost train attract the spirits to show up on my Haunted moonlight cemetery tour in New Orleans. “We felt the temperature drop, heard otherworldly sounds and clicked the camera to capture our ghost on film who seems to want to be included and beckons you to join us on our new ventures.” NOTE: the solid orb above the group and the streak that wisps toward the group making its way through the Ms Cindy of Decatur hotels hair!
